Due to the cooperation of the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Medicine of the University of Pécs the famous building of the Hotel Nádor in the heart of the city was revived in 2009. Since spring the gallery welcomes the visitors. According to the plans next year besides the exhibitions there will be other programs as well in the renovated building. The original plan was to create and maintain a gallery which provides an exhibition space for the students and workers of the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Medicine but this has been further developed: the gallery also operates as a community space and its aim to reach the local population because saving and keeping alive the Nádor Gallery is a public interest in Pécs.
The renewed Gallery in the main square of the city is waiting for those who are interested in the arts. The gallery is open on weekdays from 11.00 until 17.00.
